Alex is a videographer/photographer based in Connecticut. He owns his company titled “KLIMKO Productions.” He spent 2 years studying film and Broadcast Journalism at Emerson College in Boston and has since then produced music videos, wedding and portrait photography, as well as corporate videography. Although his main focuses are in photo/video production, when introduced to the idea of illustrating a children’s book for multicultural education he couldn’t help but jump at the opportunity. He looks forward to the opportunity to release this book in schools, and see it do its job.

Bryanna is a soon to be special education teacher with a passion for social justice. During her undergrad at Connecticut College, she studied human development and psychology with a concentration in multicultural education. Her honors thesis entitled, “Reducing Racial and Gender Implicit Biases: The Effects of Multicultural Education on a Child’s Preferences and Occupational Aspirations,” found that children as young as 3-5 years old have racial and gender biases regarding traits and occupations. However, she found that by reading children multicultural books for as little as once a week, they significantly reduced their biases and saw themselves and their peers of all races and genders as being capable of doing any job!

as a brand strategist I focus on an organization’s overall business model and strategic road map to leverage currently trending technologies and paradigms to achieve predefined business goals and organizational objectives which, involve putting the buyer/subscriber/advocate first and technology where it belongs, in support of people, movements and causes.
